She feels that Insanity has been repeatedly given a bad rep and has been branded as "too hard". However, she promises that if you stop by and try out her class you will not only have fun doing something new but will realize how much you can really do with your body and how strong you are and and can become. Insanity leaves you feeling empowered and energized; anyone can do it! She is excited to be offering something new and innovative to the fitness center and promises you will have a good time getting insane with her. She has also been dancing since she was two, is one of the captains of TCNJ's dance company Synergy, and earned her Zumba certification through ZIN in the summer of 2012; you can be sure to find some funky dance variations in her routines and exercises that make her class one of a kind. Three years later, she is even more dedicated to the practice and her own personal growth. Her classes are appropriate for all levels and are designed with creative sequencing to provide a fun and challenging experience. Plenty of modifications and advanced variations will be offered to ensure that everyone receives the experience they need in that moment. Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I'm pretty excited to be teaching you kickboxing and toning those abs this year. I've been kickboxing for almost 5 years. It's a great way to get out all of those frustrations from orgo tests or 25 page long essays. I'm currently in my senior year here at TCNJ as a Biology major and Spanish minor. When I'm not studying or working out you can probably find me at a concert or teaching the conversation hours. Feel free to come up to me before or after class to talk about anything and everything from science to music! Stay kickin', Lauren McKay

Having started yoga in 2011, she decided to pursue her 200 hour yoga certification in fall of 2013 at YogaStream in Princeton, NJ. She is also CPR/First Aid certified. Emphasizing strength, alignment, and balance, her classes are appropriate for all levels, yet challenging enough to encourage physical and mental growth. There is plenty of core work and innovative movement, so prepare to sweat! Sarah is grateful for the opportunity to teach yoga at TCNJ and anticipates an exciting year with students both new and old.

She became certified by ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) in May 2014. She is a member of ZIN as well. I became certified by ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) in May 2015 and am currently a member as well. The music used for Zumba gets me so energized and excited to teach, and you don’t have to know how to dance to have fun doing Zumba! It’s also the perfect workout because you are exercising while having a blast! I can’t wait to start teaching at the Fitness Center and have everyone join in the fun!
Sabhya Gupta, Zumba, Bollywood Blast
Hi! My name is Sabhya and I am a junior Biology major. I have been dancing since I was 5, and absolutely love everything that goes into performing. Dancing keeps me sane!! In 2013, I completed my ten year training and graduated from Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form. I was on my high school Dance Team, and have done some hip hop and jazz. I taught summer dance classes in high school, with annual recitals. Freshman year I was on Jiva, TCNJ's premier Indian classical dance team, and we went to competitions at UMD and Georgia Tech! I got my Zumba certification in December 2014 and am so excited to start as a Zumba instructor. I do a little bit of Bollywood mixed in with my Zumba class, I hope you enjoy it! I am CPR and EMT certified and chocolate ice cream is in my opinion the most scrumptious delicacy on this planet ;)
